The Fighting Warriors take team Unity very seriously. All player’s in our team Promote team Unity by doing the following:

  • Place the Fighting Warriors Team logo in your Avatar, if you need help with this let me or one of the Co-Captains know and we’ll help but it’s fairly simple, you can find the Warriors Team Logo on top of our Team Profile Page, of course my friend you can put whatever picture you like in your Profile page but all warriors place our team logo in their Avatar. Detailed instructions can also be found here .

  • Join our team website thefightingwarriors.com, I can assure you we have one of the best team websites out there, there’s also a lot of Information there you’ll find helpful, all member’s of the team are also member’s of our website. If you have not yet registered, click here to do so.

  • Treat your team mates with respect and when you can send a friendly greeting when you play against one of your team mates. Treat your opponents with respect also my friend, remember that you are now a Member of the fighting warriors Team, in team games you represent yourself and the team.

  • We are understanding and sometimes forgiving when player’s lose team games by time-out due to health Problems or Family Problems but time-outs due to negligence will result in a penalty and most likely removal from the team, all team game losses by time-out we will request a apology to the team even if you have a good reason. Failure to provide a apology to the team in a timely manner will result in a automatic removal from the team. The only way you can make your way back to the Team afterwards is if the team council accepts and the Team will have to vote in your favour so take whatever measures you must to avoid this ok? don’t be shy to use your vacation flag that’s what it’s there for.

  • Occasionally every 3 months or so we either ask team member’s for a Opinion or for a vote, we expect you to participate my friend, your vote is just as Important as the ones from the older member’s of the team.

Ok this cover’s Team Unity.

Here’s some Information to get you started:
The settings for team games are 2 all the way to 20 or Unlimited this is your choice of course the time control is 3, 5, or 7 days, If you pick, 3 or 5 you’ll have more team games but again the choice is yours. You’ll see the option settings so go there to pick your choices. If you need detailed instructions on how to control these settings, click here .

We have team Coaches on our team, you can always request for training games if you even need it or if this is something your interested in. There is a link on the website to the Coaching Corner, where you will be well looked after.

We have regular fighting warriors Team tournaments, you are welcome to participate and once a year we also have the fighting warriors annual championship tournament.

We have MVP player’s every month, we have the Wall Of Fame , Millennium club and the Warriors Hall of Fame .

When you play games on G.K, you are a player among 20.000, with us you are a Fighting warrior.

Enjoy my friend and let me know if you need assistance with anything.

Captain Achilles.

How do I set my team game preferences? PDF Print E-mail

Gameknot is really helpful if you let it be. There is no point in getting bogged down by playing too many games or games outside your time control preferences. Sometimes this can lead to timeouts, so it is really important to ensure you set your preferences the way you want them. Not only that, it also helps the Captain and co-Captains when setting challenges, as you will never get 3-day games if you don't want them, or slower games if you prefer fast play.

About The Fighting Warriors team logo PDF Print E-mail

poster.jpg

The original Fighting Warriors team logo was the wonderful poster you see to your left. It depicts Achilles13, along with some of the original Warriors: Thecontender, Agent4097, Winugly and Zormaster. While this poster is a beautiful piece of artwork, it had the single flaw that it was not appropriate for use as an avatar, with its detail being lost in the resizing.
